Suffolk police are searching for a man who tried to rob the Bethpage Federal Credit Union, located on Deer Park Avenue in North Babylon Wednesday morning
The incident happened around 9:30 a.m. when a man walked into the bank and passed the teller a note demanding cash.
He then fled the bank on foot without any money. Police did not say why the robbery was unsuccessful.
