Jamie from KJOY 98.3 and I were talking and the concept of cold pizza came up. Tell me you can’t hear your mother’s voice the second the words cold pizza are even mentioned? “You’re gonna eat that cold? Why don’t you let me heat that up for you?”.

I’m not sure why everyone but our own mothers understand the pure joy and convenience of cold pizza. There was nothing better than waking up in your early 20’s after a night you barely remember and seeing a few slices of the pie you ordered at 4 am STILL sitting there, BEGGING to be eaten. Your head hurts, you know you have to make a few apology calls, but after this slice of ice cold Sicilian…

Pizza probably makes the second best leftovers on the planet after Chinese food. I mean, repeat that same scenario but now substitute an egg roll in that same fridge. I am a sucker for ice cold boneless spare ribs too. My Grandmother used to tell me I would get sick eating food cold all of the time. There is this weird taboo around cold food that was originally served hot but we’re talking refrigerated…. not raw…. so tomorrow morning around 7:35 am… what are some foods that YOU enjoy cold? I promise you won’t gross me out.
