CM Punk has been suspended from AEW. Is it real or part of the story line?
If you’re a wrestling fan you might be glued to the TV tonight to watch AEW on TNT at Arthur Ashe Stadium. If Punk shows up, it was a storyline…. but if he doesn’t? Or maybe he does and they worked it out? This is the line you have to walk on as an interviewer.
Tony Kahn, the president of AEW called in to talk about the big show tonight. Almost everyone who talked to him before me on the radio tour bombarded him with questions about CM Punk. He never answered one. I could have sat there an annoyed him like everyone else or simply talked about the show tonight. Part of me wants to ask for US but honestly, if he gets pissed and hangs up, what did we accomplish? He did talk about some cool stuff and maybe dropped a few hints about other rumors.
