Buzzfeed has put together a list of celebrities who you may be shocked to discover are the same age or were born in the same year. Some examples include Princess Diana and Barack Obama, Snoop Dogg and Martin Freeman, Marilyn Manson and Paul Rudd, and Will Smith and Molly Ringwald. I’m not a celebrity by any means but I’d like to add myself, and Chris Hemsworth. We are the same age! In fact, I’m older than him by 4 months!
Guitarist BOB KULICK died recently. He was 70. There’s no word on a cause of death . . . or the exact date he passed. Bob is the older brother of former KISS guitarist BRUCE KULICK, and he confirmed his death on Friday.
Bob played (uncredited) on four KISS albums . . . handled lead guitar for Lou Reed on his “Coney Island Baby” album . . . played on several Meat Loaf albums, most notably on 1984’s “Bad Attitude” . . . did a few albums for W.A.S.P. . . . and played on Michael Bolton’s 1983 self-titled album.
More recently, he composed, produced, and performed the “SpongeBob SquarePants” song “Sweet Victory“, which appeared in the episode “Band Geeks”.
