Mid-Day Musings – Dave Grohl’s Essay, plus a “Back to the Future” Reunion!

  • Dave Grohl wrote a powerful essay for The Atlantic where he admitted that he misses concerts, and said we need to get them back at some point. You can read the full essay here.

 

  • The cast of “Back to the Future” reunited virtually, and the video was posted yesterday.  It’s the second in a series of fundraising projects by Josh Gad, called “Reunited Apart”.
  • Loudwire put together a list of 25 “legendary” rock albums . . . “with no weak songs.” – some of the albums mentioned were “Highway to Hell” by AC/DC . . . “Magical Mystery Tour” by The Beatles . . . “Rumours” by Fleetwood Mac . . . and “OK Computer” by Radiohead.
  • Disney is fast-tracking the premiere of the filmed version of the original Broadway production of “Hamilton”. It’ll now stream on Disney+ on July 3.
